Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park, located in southern Tanzania, is a serene and accessible wildlife haven that offers a rich safari experience. Spanning approximately 3,230 square kilometers, the park is bordered by the Selous Game Reserve to the south and is part of the larger Selous-Nyerere Ecosystem. Mikumi is known for its diverse landscapes, from grassy plains to dense woodlands, and its rich variety of wildlife. The park is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a significant population of impalas and wildebeest.
