Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park, located just a short drive from Arusha city, is a compact yet incredibly diverse destination that offers a variety of landscapes and wildlife. Dominated by Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak, the park features lush montane forests, sparkling crater lakes, and open savannahs. Visitors can encounter a range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffalos, bushbucks, and colobus monkeys, as well as a rich array of bird species.

The Momella Lakes are a particular highlight, often dotted with flamingos, while the Ngurdoto Crater provides a stunning backdrop for game viewing.
