Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. It has over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Accompanied by our friendly and professional guide, you'll explore the park's diverse landscapes in search of incredible wildlife, including Africa's Big Five. Later in the evening, you'll journey to the Ngorongoro area, where you'll relax and unwind at your accommodation perched on the rim of the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a remarkable game drive. This natural wonder is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, antelopes, and, with some luck, the elusive rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the crater lake, surrounded by stunning scenery. Continue exploring the crater floor before heading back to Arusha, where your safari adventure will conclude.
The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera, was formed 2–3 million years ago following a massive volcanic eruption. Sitting at an elevation of 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, the crater supports around 30,000 animals and a diverse array of bird species, making it one of the most unique ecosystems on the planet.
